Attorney Ballerini graduated magna cum laude from Connecticut College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She went on to get her law degree at Quinnipiac University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2010.

While in law school, Attorney Ballerini was the Editor-in-Chief of the Health Law Journal and the Vice President of the Law and Medicine Society. She spent a semester interning at New Haven Legal Assistance, primarily working with children and families in the Health Law Partnership for Families (HeLP) Clinic at Hospital of Saint Raphael. She received the Excellence in Clinical Work award for her efforts. Attorney Ballerini received various Distinguished Academic Achievement Awards and was acknowledged for graduating in the top 10 percent of her class, for her contributions to the school through her work as the Editor-in-Chief and for writing an article that was chosen for publication.

Attorney Ballerini joined NPM in 2010. She primarily practices in the areas of real estate, commercial finance and commercial and business law. She is admitted to practice in the state of Connecticut.
