Successful sale of Windham Mills to Loch View, LLC

The law firm of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C., is pleased to announce the successful sale of Windham Mills to Loch View, LLC, an affiliate of TWB Properties for the purchase price of $5,550,000.00 which occurred on December 4, 2008.

The sale was made pursuant to a confirmed Chapter 11 Plan filed in the bankruptcy case of Windham Mills Development Corporation d/b/a Windham Mills Technology Center by Louis J. Testa, Esq., of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C., who was appointed Chapter 11 Trustee on July 3, 2007. The bankruptcy case is pending in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut, (Hartford Division) under Case. No. 04-23619 before the Honorable Albert S. Dabrowski, Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge.

The Windham Mills was renovated from the former American Mills Thread Complex in Willimantic, Connecticut and consists of approximately thirty-eight acres of land with two dams and approximately seven industrial buildings located on both sides of the Willimantic River.

Douglas S. Skalka, Esq., a partner of the firm serves as lead bankruptcy counsel for the Trustee and Judy K. Weinstein, Esq. a partner in the firm represented the Trustee as the seller of the Mill complex on behalf of the Debtor.
