Attorney Dinnan graduated from Smith College with high honors in 1981 and received her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1984. She joined the law firm of Jackson, O'Keefe and Dunn in Hartford, Connecticut and became a partner in the firm in 1987. She developed a practice in all aspects of civil litigation and appellate advocacy. She joined the firm of Hitt, Sachner and Miele in 1998 where her practice was devoted to medical malpractice defense, hospital liability and representation of medical care providers at the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health and before the Connecticut Medical Examining Board. She was admitted to practice in Connecticut in 1984, to the United States District Court in 1985, to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in 1987 and to the Supreme Court of the United States in 1988. Attorney Dinnan has successfully tried jury cases in state and federal courts. She has successfully handled appeals before the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and has submitted briefs to the Supreme Court of the United States. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, and the Connecticut Society of Health Care Risk Management.
