Attorney Weinstein graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wellesley College in 1977 and obtained her law degree from The University of Connecticut School of Law in 1980. Attorney Weinstein has substantial experience in the areas of commercial finance, real estate, general corporate law, health law, commercial contracting, and commercial workouts and restructures. She has represented local and national lending institutions in the extension and collection of asset-based, commercial, mortgage and construction loans. Her health care practice includes counseling hospital and other provider clients, including individual physicians and physician practices, on general corporate matters, integrated delivery system matters, regulatory issues, employment law matters, and financing transactions. Her real estate practice includes real estate acquisitions and sales, and commercial leasing. Attorney Weinstein has also advised clients in connection with stock and asset sales and purchases. Attorney Weinstein is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Health Lawyers Association, the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy and Real Property sections of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Business Law section of the American Bar Association. Attorney Weinstein is past co-chair of the Women's Leadership Council, affiliate of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council, and is past President and current Annual Giving Representative of her Wellesley College class. She is also a past Ex-Officio Member of the Board of Directors of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council and a graduate of Class IX of Leadership Greater Bridgeport. She is a member of the Board of Assessment Appeals for the Town of Easton, Connecticut, and the recipient of the Volunteer Award 2002 from the Bridgeport Regional Business Council.
