Matt Nettleton joined the firm in 2011 after graduating from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He practices in the commercial litigation area, including design professional and construction law, products liability, employment, and professional malpractice defense.

While in law school, he served as Articles Editor for the Law Review and as Litigation Director for the Moot Court Board. He was champion of the William R. Davis Mock Trial Competition and was the lead organizer of the first ever U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit arguments on the law school’s campus. He was a judicial intern for the Hon. Dominic J. Squatrito of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and earned several awards for classroom achievement.

He has a B.A. in economics from Wesleyan University, where he was a four-year member of the varsity cross country and track and field teams.
